Update:

Ah... Such slow progress recently, I feel like I just shook off a bad shirt that's been on me for days. I have perfectly reasonable reasons for this, one of my best friends Dad died, very depressing. I hope he rests in peace.

Now I've shaken off that, I'm getting back to regular pace. More maps have been made, the first village, plus it's forest, cave and beach area is complete. Here's a screenshot of inside one of the houses.

And here is from the dessert town I started yesterday, it's not completely finished yet, only some more nature and plants to add in area's where you can't walk.
